Job summary

Ausenco in Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls to join our growing team. You will own project controls activities, work alongside Project Managers and Project Engineers, and contribute to how complex engineering studies are coordinated and reported.

This role requires taking independent ownership, guiding cost, schedule and progress reporting, and presenting dashboards to stakeholders. We value initiative, collaboration, and the ability to influence outcomes across scope,

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls or project engineering with exposure to scope, deliverables, change and progress reporting.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows and how design develops across project stages.
• Strong organizational skills, accountability and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Clear communication skills and confidence engaging internal stakeholders and clients.
• A mechanical, process or other engineering background would be welcomed but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sequence engineering activities with Planning Engineer to create the project baseline.
• Manage controls across engineering studies: scope, changes, cost reporting, EV analysis.
• Maintain deliverable lists and coordinate change processes.
• Prepare and communicate cost, schedule and progress updates for weekly/monthly reporting.
• Present project performance dashboards at Internal Project Review meetings.
• Raise monthly invoices and liaise with Accounts Receivable.
• Participate in client meetings, providing clear project controls updates.
