Job summary

CSR Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Gyprock Plant in Yarraville, VIC. This full-time role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and leads the Gyprock Yarraville production teams, safeguarding health, safety, the environment, and CSR’s code of conduct.

You will supervise on a rotating day/night roster, operate equipment, and collaborate with engineers and managers on process improvements while using strong people-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or process role in a similar industry.
• Strong commitment to safety awareness.
• Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person).
• Knowledge & production experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture to achieve a zero-harm environment.
• Supervise a rotating shift roster (6am–6pm, 6pm–6am) 24/7.
• Operate machinery and ensure materials meet commercial standards.
• Ensure adherence to site safety rules, incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with managers, operators, and engineers on process improvements.
• Demonstrate people-management and problem-solving skills with some technical support.
