Job summary

ECG Engineering is seeking a Lead Power Systems Engineer to join our Perth-based Power Systems team and drive design, reports, studies and analysis for a diverse client base in mining, utilities and renewables. The role combines leadership with hands-on power engineering delivery.

The ideal candidate has HV power systems experience, proficiency in power system modelling tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects and travel as required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Degree level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded.
• Strong knowledge of HV power systems design including powerlines and substations.
• Experience with network analysis and performance standard studies.

Responsibilities

• Undertake power system analysis for clients.
• Design power systems for mining and power generation industries.
• Preparation and evaluation of tenders.
• Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent (PowerFactory) and ETAP.
