Job summary

Shadforth is seeking experienced Pipe Layers in Queensland to lead or join a crew delivering sewer, stormwater and watermain builds. You will work with experienced supervisors on local projects and take a hands-on approach to ensure quality and safety.

The role offers generous leave arrangements, overtime potential with loadings for extended hours and Saturday work, and options for travel allowances or a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience laying sewer, stormwater and water mains.
• Experience reading construction plans and standards.
• Ability to shoot and reduce levels using a dumpy level.
• Experience setting up and operating pipe lasers.
• Confined Space, Quick Cut and Front End Loader tickets are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead or join a small crew delivering sewer, stormwater and watermain builds.
• Read and interpret construction plans and standards.
• Operate dumpy level and pipe lasers to set levels and alignments.
• Carry out manual handling and repetitive tasks safely, including lifting.
