Vfxwire in Brisbane seeks a Senior Level Compositor / Comp Supervisor to join our VFX team. This full-time role offers an immediate start, with contract work available.

You will create highly realistic multi-layered composites of CG and live-action footage for high-end feature films, television series and TVCs, and you will lead the team, review shots and maintain high standards. Qualifications

• 8+ years of photo-real compositing experience in feature films or commercials.
• Mastery of Nuke and strong color and colorspace knowledge.
• Expert knowledge of CG rendering, multi-channel EXRS and AOVs.
• Expert knowledge of compositing and integration of CG elements.
• Strong artistic skills with a critical eye and execution quality.
• Maya experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compositing team, review shots and provide feedback.
• Maintain high work standards and attention to detail across production.
• Coordinate seamless integration of plates and VFX elements to create photo-real composites.
• Oversee execution of complex and demanding shots.
• Work with projections and the 3D environment within Nuke.
• Collaborate with VFX supervisors and crew.
