Job summary

DNEG Animation in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a compositor to join a team that integrates CG, MGFX and DMP elements to enhance visual effects. The role involves working with full CG and hybrid cuts, and collaboration with VFX and 2D leads during production reviews.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in high-end projects, deep knowledge of the CG pipeline, and solid proficiency in Nuke, including 2.5D projection work.

Qualifications

• Experience in the VFX/Animation industry as a compositor on high end projects.
• Good knowledge of the VFX/feature film animation pipeline.
• Good knowledge of handling and working with fully CG shots.
• Experience with Nuke.
• Good knowledge of projections in Nuke (and any 2.5D work).

Responsibilities

• Compose multiple CG, MGFX, and DMP elements to complement VFX.
• Work closely with VFX and 2D supervisors and leads.
• Participate in daily client reviews and sessions.
