Job summary

DNEG Animation is seeking a skilled compositor to join our Sydney team, integrating CG and hybrid cuts to enhance visual effects for high-end projects. You will collaborate with VFX and 2D supervisors, contributing to client reviews and keeping production workflows efficient.

You should be proficient with Nuke, comfortable with fully CG shots, and able to manage projections and 2.5D work within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in VFX/Animation industry as a compositor on high end projects.
• Good knowledge of the VFX/feature film animation pipeline.
• Good knowledge of handling and working with fully CG shots.
• Experience with Nuke.
• Good knowledge of projections in Nuke (and any 2.5D work).

Responsibilities

• Compose multiple CG, MGFX, and DMP elements that complement the visual effects of a cut.
• Work with VFX and 2D supervisors and leads in client reviews and sessions.
• Follow production methodologies to develop creative solutions to problems in VFX design and composition.

Skills

Experience in VFX/Animation industry

VFX/feature film pipeline knowledge

Handling fully CG shots

Experience with Nuke

Nuke projections / 2.5D work
