Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction & Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate multiple jobs across sites. You will supervise contractors and trades, plan schedules, and ensure safety and compliance with WHS procedures while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise competing tasks, and proficiency with standard office software. A White Card and a current driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, building maintenance, facilities maintenance or similar.
• Experience supervising or coordinating contractors, trades and multiple jobs.
• Current White Card or General Construction Induction Card.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise competing jobs.
• Proficient with standard computer systems; trade experience or qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple building maintenance, construction and upgrade jobs across various sites.
• Supervise contractors, trades and field-based works to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
• Plan and schedule works while managing changing priorities and operational requirements.
• Monitor job progress, resolve site issues and minimise disruption to occupants and clients.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure works comply with WHS requirements and established safety procedures.
• Assist with estimates, quotations, scopes of work and project documentation where required.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation relating to works and site activities.
