GTE Technology is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide high-level design and engineering support across our seed processing solutions. You will oversee equipment design from order to installation and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across engineering, sales and management.

Ideal candidates will hold a mechanical engineering degree, excel in SolidWorks, and demonstrate strong communication, documentation and project management capabilities in a manufacturing setting.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management capability (desirable).
• High proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee GTE equipment design and manufacture from order confirmation through to onsite installation
• Provide end to end engineering advice across departments
• Liaise with key stakeholders to identify risks and provide technical solutions
• Assess, recommend and implement product modifications or redesigns
• Design new equipment for emerging markets identified by Sales and Management
• Recommend product improvements to enhance quality, reduce cost and improve reliability
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
