City of Adelaide is seeking a Major Event Facilitator to manage a city-wide calendar of major outdoor events on Council park lands, roads and facilities. You will build relationships with event organisers and stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations to grow Adelaide’s cultural landscape.

The role requires strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to lead multiple events while collaborating with teams and partners across the community.

Qualifications

• Significant understanding of procedures, processes, policies and legislation for events or transferable experience.
• Ability to build positive relationships and consult with all levels of management, staff, agencies and the community.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
• Able to communicate with and assist people to manage work and resources across multiple projects.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a team on diverse events.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate an annual city-wide calendar of major outdoor events for park lands, roads and facilities.
• Develop collaborative relationships with event organisers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure events comply with relevant legislation and City policies and regulations.
• Provide support and direction to customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities and magnify events.
