Job summary

Lindsay Australia Limited is seeking an Operations Supervisor at the Donnybrook depot to lead a fast-paced team in moving temperature-controlled freight safely and on time. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll drive continuous improvement and ensure operations run smoothly during day shifts.

Key responsibilities include supervising allocators, drivers and forklift operators, ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations, and coordinating daily logistics to optimise throughput and costs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with refrigerated transport is a plus.
• Ability to mentor and develop a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Manage the Team – supervise allocators, drivers and forklift operators to ensure peak performance.
• Foster a high-performance culture with clear expectations and feedback.
• Ensure NHVR compliance, fatigue laws, and safety policies are followed.
• Coordinate freight movement for on-time delivery and efficiency.
• Plan staffing and scheduling to meet demand.
• Oversee warehouse activity to ensure safe handling and loading.
