Job summary

Omni Recruit partners with a Sydney wing restaurant group in Randwick to recruit a Kitchen Supervisor. You will lead a busy kitchen, oversee prep, stock, and wastage, and ensure top-quality plates during peak hours.

Bring hands-on leadership, experience in high-volume kitchens, and a commitment to food safety. A full Australian work rights and a clear path to Assistant Kitchen Manager are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen supervisor, senior cook or sous chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
• NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to get one).
• Speed, stamina and steady leadership.
• Full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Run kitchen shifts through peak periods and keep service smooth.
• Keep plates consistent, fast and to specification.
• Manage prep, stock rotation, ordering and wastage.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards.
• Train and lead cooks and kitchen hands.
• Keep kitchen and front of house in sync.
