Job summary

Insignia Financial in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Integration to lead scalable, secure integration delivery across the enterprise. As technical lead for the Workato platform, you will shape patterns, governance and platform adoption while guiding migration from legacy middleware to modern cloud and iPaaS solutions.

Collaborate with architecture, delivery, application and business teams to improve speed and reliability.

Qualifications

8+ years in enterprise integration including migration and re-platforming to cloud or iPaaS.
Hands-on Workato expertise across recipes, deployment, troubleshooting and monitoring.
Leadership across solution design, estimation, stakeholder engagement and governance.
Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Experience securing integrations with OAuth, API keys and data protection practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS integrations.
DevOps practices, CI/CD, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript).
ITIL-based incident/problem/change management and DR planning.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise integration standards, architectures and governance.
Design, develop and maintain complex Workato workflows and connectors.
Lead integration migration and modernisation initiatives to Workato.
Design secure API-led solutions for various integration patterns.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and design assurance to engineers.
Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and disaster recovery practices.
Coordinate deployment across Development, Test, UAT and Production with CI/CD.
