Job summary

IOOF Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer - Integration to drive scalable, secure Workato-based integration solutions across the enterprise. You’ll combine hands-on engineering with architecture leadership and platform governance to modernise integrations from legacy middleware to cloud and iPaaS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of integration experience including greenfield projects.
• Strong hands-on Workato expertise across recipes and connectors.
• Technical leadership spanning design, estimation, stakeholder engagement and governance.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, ETL and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise integration standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks and engineering best practices across the Workato platform.
• Design, develop and maintain complex Workato workflows, including reusable recipes and connectors.
• Lead integration migration and modernisation from legacy middleware to Workato.
• Design secure API-led solutions for synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven and file-based integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and design assurance to integration engineers.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting and observability with robust error handling and resilience.
• Manage deployment and lifecycle activities across Development, Test, UAT and Production with DevOps/CI/CD.
• Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to support onboarding, governance, and go-live activities.
