Job summary

Talent in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Integration Developer for a 6-month contract (with potential extension) to support and improve enterprise applications. You will lead integration design, code quality, and release delivery across cloud and on-prem environments.

This on-site role requires 8+ years of experience with REST/SOAP, and hands-on work with platforms like ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Power Platform; agile teams, strong communication, and middleware expertise.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on integration experience across REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft/Power Platform.
Experience with Agile delivery and cross-functional teams.
Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with ESB/middleware and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

Support complex features, custom applications, and integrations across major enterprise platforms.
Provide architectural guidance on patterns, feasibility, and technical decisions.
Design, build, and maintain secure integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP) across cloud and on-prem environments.
Drive code quality through peer reviews, testing guidance, and standards.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through code, queries, and configurations.
Mentor and support other developers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Own change and release delivery for assigned applications and handover to support teams.
