Job summary

Indigitise is seeking an Integration Developer for an onsite role in Sydney. You will design, build, test and support secure, scalable API-led and event-driven integrations connecting departmental apps, platforms and external services.

You will implement cloud-native integration solutions using modern platforms, microservices and CI/CD practices, while collaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing and supporting API-led and event-driven integration solutions using microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data interchange, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, API gateways and service integration patterns.
• Cloud-native integration solutions using API management platforms, messaging and event-driven technologies, containerisation and orchestration platforms, and modern programming languages.
• Secure integration and identity solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure service to service communication.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps, observability, platform automation and AI-enabled software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support API-led and event-driven integration solutions for inter-departmental apps and external services.
• Implement integration solutions using cloud-native services, messaging technologies and event-driven patterns to support transformation initiatives and platform modernisation.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality integration solutions.
• Apply modern engineering practices including AI-enabled SDLC, CI/CD, observability and platform engineering standards for secure, scalable service delivery.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
