Job summary

Crown Perth is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead the In-Room Dining kitchen in a high-volume hotel environment. You will supervise a team across multiple shifts, ensure dishes meet Crown's five-star standards, and drive safety, quality and guest satisfaction.

Working with the Chef de Cuisine, you will mentor staff, manage rostering and stock, and maintain exceptional service levels across all service periods while upholding Crown's high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and relevant culinary qualifications (Cert 3 & 4) required.
• Leadership experience as Sous Chef in a hotel, resort or large hospitality environment.
• Experience working in high-volume kitchens with multiple service periods.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership and day-to-day operation of a busy In-Room Dining kitchen.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of chefs and cooks across multiple shifts.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to Crown's five-star standards.
• Manage service periods while maintaining quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with rostering, labour management, stock control and operational planning.
• Drive a culture of safety, compliance, teamwork and exceptional customer service.
