Job summary

VCM Transport Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet, coordinate allocation, utilisation and availability, and ensure servicing, inspections and repairs are carried out on schedule.

You will monitor costs, registrations, insurance and compliance while liaising with mechanics, suppliers and service providers to minimise downtime and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.
• Experience coordinating servicing, repairs and vehicle suppliers.
• Understanding of vehicle registration, insurance and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage fleet costs, records and operational priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in fleet management, transport, logistics or business management will be highly regarded.
