Job summary

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council in Braidwood is seeking a Leading Hand Intermittent Works to supervise day-to-day civil crews and support delivery of transport infrastructure across the region.

You will plan, coordinate and monitor daily activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery, lead by example, and uphold safety and quality while maintaining critical community infrastructure for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction or maintenance and leading by example.
• Ability to organise daily works, supervise staff and maintain safety and quality.
• Holds relevant licences and tickets; plant operation experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside crews delivering road, drainage, vegetation and transport maintenance works across the region.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
• Lead by example, fostering teamwork, safety and quality outcomes while maintaining critical community infrastructure.
