Job summary

K2 Homes is seeking a hands-on Onsite Leading Hand (carpenter/foreman) to manage luxury custom home builds in Melbourne. You will stay on the tools daily, lead the crew, own the program on site and act as the bridge between site and office.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in residential construction, a Certificate III in Carpentry, White Card and a valid driver’s licence. Own vehicle and tools preferred. This is a full-time role with long-term growth potential and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter with proven leadership on residential builds.
• Experience running a crew on high-end custom homes.
• Strong organisational and on-site decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the on-site team to deliver quality builds on time.
• Run weekly toolbox meetings and document outcomes.
• Coordinate trades to maintain program and milestones.
• Review architectural drawings and ensure accurate quantities of materials.
