Job summary

Seek Sunshine Coast builder is seeking a Leading Hand to lead the crew on custom, architectural, or high-end residential projects on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll work directly with the owner, with no intermediary layers, and have real input into planning and sequencing of jobs.

5+ years in high-end residential carpentry, full hands-on experience from framing to finishing, and a strong eye for detail. White Card, driver’s licence and own hand tools are required; tickets such as Working at Heights

Qualifications

• 5+ years on custom, architectural or high-end residential projects.
• Takes on-site responsibility from framing through to finishing.
• Eye for detail and pride in the finished product.

Responsibilities

• Trade coordination — calling up subbies and briefing them on scope and quality.
• Site preparation — ensure access, set-out, and materials are ready before subs arrive.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and presentable site with waste managed and finishes protected.
• Ensure quality outcomes from our trades.
