Job summary

Macquarie Group is building the next evolution of its Strata UI, Crafting the PropertyIQ platform with modern cloud technologies and a strong design system. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will translate UI/UX wireframes into scalable code, lead frontend architecture decisions, and work across the full development lifecycle with multiple squads.

You will focus on performance, accessibility, and security while mentoring engineers and driving AI-assisted engineering adoption to improve

Qualifications

Experience with frontend architecture and modern frontend patterns (standalone components, signals) in Angular or similar frameworks.
Proven ability to design and govern design systems across multiple squads.
Experience mentoring engineers and driving productivity and delivery improvements.
Strong focus on accessibility, client-side security, and performance.

Responsibilities

Translate UI/UX wireframes into code to build visual elements and ensure high performance.
Define and drive frontend architecture decisions (micro-frontend vs core app, module federation).
Balance SPA, SSR, static generation, and edge rendering for performance and SEO.
Improve Core Web Vitals and track real user metrics beyond lab scores.
Mentor engineers and lead AI-assisted engineering initiatives.
Ensure accessibility and frontend security considerations are integrated across teams.
