Job summary

Launch Group is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Sydney, NSW to modernise complex systems and deliver exceptional UX using React and TypeScript. You will contribute to scalable frontend solutions and work within AI-assisted development practices to review and refine AI-generated code for quality and performance.

The role requires strong frontend craft, deep understanding of architecture, state management and API integration, plus backend exposure in Node and cloud tooling (AWS).

Qualifications

• Strong frontend engineering experience across React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven design, state management and API integration patterns.
• Good backend experience across Node.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, CI/CD, cloud environments and AWS.
• Heavy user of AI-assisted development, with confidence reviewing, refining and correcting AI-generated code to ensure quality, performance and maintainability.
