Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Flood/Drainage Engineer to lead flood modelling and drainage projects from Sydney. You will collaborate with NSW water resources and civil design teams within the national Australian Water group, supporting major infrastructure, urban development, transport, utilities and precinct development from planning through to delivery.
You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, mentor engineers, develop client relationships, and contribute to proposals and bids,
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Water Resources.
- Significant flood, drainage or water resources engineering experience in a consulting or infrastructure context.
- Strong technical leadership and ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience delivering flood modelling and drainage design projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver flood modelling, stormwater drainage, hydrology and hydraulic assessment projects across NSW and Australia.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation, flood impact assessments and drainage strategies.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary infrastructure, development, transport and water projects.
