Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Sydney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead end-to-end installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for life-changing medical devices across Australia and APAC.

You will build trusted hospital partnerships, plan service visits, and ensure compliance with medical device standards while developing smarter service processes and tools. The role requires autonomy, travel readiness, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience in medical devices or hospital equipment
• Strong hands-on technical skills in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to communicate clearly with hospitals, distributors and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end field service across Australia and APAC, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades
• Provide trusted technical support to hospitals, distributors and internal teams
• Plan and execute service visits with parts, tools, documentation and follow-up actions
• Maintain accurate service records and asset history (equipment, spare parts, loan devices, calibration)
• Ensure quality and compliance with medical device standards, SOPs and escalation requirements
• Support APAC service operations by improving processes, tools and workflows and collaborating globally
