Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead end-to-end installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of life-saving heart recovery technology in Australia. You will work with hospitals, distributors and internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from Sydney and across APAC.

You will travel across Australia and APAC, maintaining equipment, generating service records and ensuring compliance with medical device standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience in medical devices, biomedical engineering or hospital equipment support.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise across installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical or software-driven equipment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with hospitals, distributors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end field service across Australia and APAC, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Provide trusted technical support to hospitals, distributors and internal teams for a seamless customer experience.
• Plan and execute service visits with parts, tools, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and assets including equipment history, spare parts and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with medical device standards, SOPs and escalation requirements.
• Contribute to APAC service operations through process improvements, training and global collaboration.
• Support service agreements, including quotations, renewals, and distributor or customer communication.
