Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an experienced Configuration Change Analyst/Manager to lead configuration management and systems engineering for a high‑performance satellite network. You will oversee baseline management, change analysis across subsystems, and governance of engineering change processes, while driving data-driven packaging and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in Configuration Management including Change Management in aerospace, satellite, or defense programs
• Expertise in Systems Engineering of spacecraft systems
• Experience performing Impact Analysis across satellite or aerospace systems at the system and subsystem level
• Experience establishing data hierarchies for aerospace systems with multiple evolving product lines
• Familiarity with Physical, Informational, and Operational ICDs
• Background in design of satellite systems, launch vehicles, or aerospace systems
• Expertise in GD&T and drawing technical data packages

Responsibilities

• Configuration Baseline Management across multiple vehicle configurations and product lines
• Engineering Change Analysis of impacts to design, interfaces, requirements, schedule, and cost
• Governance of business requirements and processes for Engineering Change Control
• Establish and maintain data hierarchies and traceability through PLM toolchain
• Lead Change Control Board (CCB) and impact assessment activities
• Develop data-driven technical packages and GD&T compliant drawings
• Coordinate change analysis across Satellite Bus, Payload, EE, Antenna, RF, and Structures
• Maintain change notification logs and executive-level reporting
• Ensure system-level compliance across ICDs and interfaces
