Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production development of a critical Line Replaceable Unit for next-generation spacecraft. You will partner with design, factory operations, quality, and program management to deliver high-performance modules into space.

You will own the capacity ramp, define the required capital equipment, and drive rate increases while balancing production velocity, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years hardware design and validation experience
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices
• Experience with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve production processes with a team of manufacturing engineers
• Interface with development to represent factory input during design reviews and escalations
• Support operations with problem-solving and quality containment
• Define capacity increase roadmap and lead capital equipment for rate increases
