Job summary
SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company, invites a seasoned Energy Engineer to lead design and delivery of substation automation, renewable energy and grid-connected power projects in Australia. You will mentor engineers, drive SCADA, PLC, and communications solutions across substations, BESS, microgrids and renewables.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in control systems and energy engineering, strong client engagement, and a collaborative leadership style. Perth-based with periodic site work.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in control systems, automation or power systems engineering.
- Demonstrated experience delivering substation automation and renewable energy projects.
- Proven experience leading technical teams on complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of engineers to deliver design, development, testing and commissioning of SCADA and control systems.
- Develop SCADA architectures, communications networks and control system solutions for critical energy infrastructure.
- Oversee engineering quality, risk management and compliance activities.
- Mentor project teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
