Job summary

The University of Queensland (UQ) is seeking a Supervisor, Employability and Work Integrated Learning for a 6-month secondment in the EAIT Employability Team. The role oversees in-curriculum employability and WIL activities, aligning with University policy, and guides the Employability portfolio team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the Australian higher education sector and university degree structures.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop clear project plans and timelines.
• Ability to supervise, mentor and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end management and delivery of in-curriculum employability and WIL programs.
• Provide specialist advice to students, staff and stakeholders according to policies and procedures.
• Lead WIL reporting, including placement cohorts monitoring and risk identification.
• Lead and support the Employability and WIL portfolio team.
• Coordinate projects that enhance employability offerings across disciplines.
• Improve systems, data management and digital resources.
• Build relationships across the Faculty, Schools, UQ teams and external partners.
