Job summary

University of Southern Queensland in Ipswich (Toowoomba or Ipswich campus) is seeking a part-time Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer to coordinate placements and support student employability outcomes.

You will work with students, academic staff and industry partners to manage the end-to-end placement process, ensuring compliance and high-quality experiences. This fixed-term appointment runs until 24 December 2027 (25.2 hours/week), and requires right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience, training, or professional accreditation.
• Experience coordinating placements, internships, work-integrated learning activities, or similar programs within higher education or a comparable environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work placements and support delivery of high-quality placement experiences.
• Manage end-to-end placement process to ensure student support and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, academic staff and industry partners.
• Support accreditation requirements and drive continuous improvement in placement experiences.
