Job summary

University of Southern Queensland is seeking a part‑time Work-Integrated Learning Officer to join the School of Health, Psychological and Medical Sciences. This fixed‑term replacement role supports the delivery of high‑quality placement and industry engagement experiences for students across Toowoomba or Ipswich campuses.

You will coordinate placements, liaise with students, academic staff and industry partners, and help ensure compliance and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience coordinating placements/work‑integrated learning activities in higher education or a similar environment.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with students, industry partners and internal stakeholders.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a commitment to student outcomes.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work placements and support end-to-end placement experiences.
• Manage end-to-end placement process with students, academic staff and industry partners.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and placement providers.
• Contribute to placement experiences that support student success and accreditation requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in placement programs.
