Job summary

WSP in Australia is seeking an Associate or Senior Electrical Engineer (EHV) to provide technical leadership across national transmission and substation projects. You will lead design packages from concept through construction and mentor engineers within the Power & Energy team.

You will work on HV/EHV substation design, conduct technical studies, and collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver robust transmission solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Electrical Engineering or related.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation project experience in power utilities.
• Experience delivering 330kV–500kV transmission projects with hands-on analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHV/HV substation design packages from concept to construction.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers.
• Perform studies and engineering calculations for designs.
