Job summary

Grow Early Education Park Ridge is seeking a Diploma Lead Educator to join our team. The role focuses on guiding a classroom, engaging with children and families, and delivering high-quality early childhood programs.

You will implement the EYLF-based curriculum, observe and document children's learning, and work within government regulations. This role offers professional development opportunities and a supportive management team, with a 37.5-hour week on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECEC or equivalent is required or actively pursued.
• Current blue card and approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQF.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Diploma Lead Educator to join our passionate team at our Grow Early Education Park Ridge centre!

You will be provided with professional development opportunities, a supportive Management team, and the opportunity to grow within our company!

Permanent Part Time contract with guaranteed work Monday to Friday, any shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm (37.5 hours per week) on a rotating system.

About your new role:

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assist in leading a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.

You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.

Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.

Network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.

Build strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.

Contribute to the documentation of the children's skills andinterests,and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.

About you:

Diploma qualification (or actively working towards Diploma) in ECEC or children's Services as approved by ACECQA.

Current blue card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.

Experience in an early childhood setting.

A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.

Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.

The ability to observe and record children's learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
