Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join Busy Bees at Torquay, VIC, on a full-time basis. You will lead the daily learning program in your room, support educators, and create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, and a valid VIC Working with Children Check. You will mentor staff and collaborate with families to support child development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Lead Educator (Full-Time) | $36.14 - $41.11 per hour | Torquay, VIC

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Torquay, located at 15-17 Falcon Drive, Torquay VIC 3228, on a full-time basis. You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.

What you'll do

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children's development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences
