Job summary

Journey Early Learning Parap is opening a brand-new 98-place centre and seeks Diploma-qualified Lead Educators to join from day one. You’ll lead a team across all rooms, establish routines, and deliver play-based learning aligned with EYLF while building strong connections with children and families.

Bring leadership experience, EYLF knowledge and current First Aid to help shape a positive centre culture at this new location in Parap.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification and Lead Educator experience are essential.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and play-based learning.
• Confidence mentoring and supporting educators.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of educators.
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Help establish routines, environments and team culture in your room.
• Build relationships with children and families.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Guide observations, planning and Storypark documentation.
• Work closely with Centre Leadership Team.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
