Job summary

Honour Early Learning in Brisbane's Park Ridge is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to helm learning across age groups in our brand-new centre. You will foster a safe, inclusive environment, build strong relationships with families and staff, and document each child’s progress with personalised plans.

You bring a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, 3+ years of leadership experience, and current First Aid/CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates.

Qualifications

• Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• At least 3 years' experience delivering exceptional experiences as a Lead Educator.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education and nurturing a love of learning.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and document children's progress with individualised learning plans.
• Collaborate to continually improve educational programs.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Assist with open/close procedures as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of rooms and centre.
• Engage with Centre Management on activities and initiatives.
