Journey Early Learning Group is opening a brand-new 98-place centre in Parap, and we’re seeking experienced Diploma-qualified Lead Educators to join our team. You’ll lead and mentor a team, shape learning environments from day one and build strong connections with children and families.

With opportunities across all rooms and ages, you’ll drive play-based learning aligned with EYLF, establish routines, and collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, engaging, high-quality

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification and previous Lead Educator experience are essential.
• ACECQA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and play-based learning is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of educators
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Help establish your room’s routines, environments and team culture
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing
• Guide observations, planning and Storypark documentation

About The Role

Diploma qualification and previous Lead Educator experience are essential.

As a Lead Educator, You’ll

• Lead, mentor and support a team of educators
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Help establish your room’s routines, environments and team culture
• Build strong relationships with children and families
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
• Guide observations, planning and Storypark documentation
• Work closely with the Centre Leadership Team
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

About You

You’re an experienced Lead Educator who is confident leading a room, supporting your team and creating high-quality learning environments.

You’ll Bring

• ACECQA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and play-based learning
• Confidence mentoring and supporting educators
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative and positive leadership style
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
• Completed National Child Safety Training
