Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare in Brisbane is seeking a passionate Lead Educator for Augustine Heights LDC & Kindy. You will lead an inclusive, high-quality learning program, support children's development and wellbeing, and work with a warm team to create a caring, engaging environment.

The role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with shifts from early morning to evening. You will collaborate with families, engage in professional development, and help implement the National Quality Framework and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as per ACECQA.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) required.
• Current Child Safety/Protection training required.
• Position may require Responsible Person on site when Director is absent.
• Knowledge of NQF and National Law/Regulations.
• Familiar with Early Years Learning Framework & QLD Kindergarten Guidelines.
• Experience in education and care of children.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Lead Educator | St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten, Augustine Heights

Join a warm and welcoming early learning community in the heart of Augustine Heights. St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten is a 75-place service offering a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and grow. With spacious outdoor areas and a large backyard, our centre embraces nature-based learning and meaningful play experiences.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator (Group Leader) who is committed to creating engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environments. Working alongside a supportive team, you will play a key role in fostering children's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between 6:15am and 6:00pm. If you're looking for an opportunity to make a genuine difference while being part of a positive and collaborative team culture, we'd love to hear from you.

• Current Child Safety/Protection training is required for this role.
• Position may require being the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Director
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Law/Regulations.
• Conversant with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
• Experience in the education and care of children
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
