Job summary

Good Shepherd LDC in Springfield Lakes is seeking qualified Educators or those pursuing certification to join our inclusive, play-based learning environment. You will help create engaging activities, support each child’s wellbeing, and collaborate with a dedicated team on positive outcomes for children and families.

Located on site at Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School, the centre offers ongoing development opportunities and a pathway to grow within Catholic Early EdCare’s values.

Qualifications

• Hold or working towards Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
• Knowledge of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• Passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten in a play-based learning environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
