Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane seeks a Lead Educator for Augustine Heights LDC & Kindy to lead a 75-place service in a calm, nature-based setting. The role focuses on creating engaging experiences, supporting children’s development and wellbeing, and partnering with families.

Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with shifts 6:15am–6:00pm. You will work with a supportive team and contribute to a positive centre culture and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification required.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from QLD Government required.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Law/Regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with Early Years Learning Framework & QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines preferred.
• Experience in education and care of children and effective communication within the workplace.

Join a warm and welcoming early learning community in the heart of Augustine Heights. St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten is a 75-place service offering a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and grow. With spacious outdoor areas and a large backyard, our centre embraces nature-based learning and meaningful play experiences.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator (Group Leader) who is committed to creating engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environments. Working alongside a supportive team, you will play a key role in fostering children's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children’s Services/Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines) or working towards qualification
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
• Current Child Safety/Protection training is required for this role.
• Position may require being the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Director
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Law/Regulations.
• Conversant with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
• Experience in the education and care of children
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
