Job summary

St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten in Augustine Heights is seeking a passionate Lead Educator (Group Leader) to create engaging, inclusive learning spaces and foster children’s development and wellbeing. You will work within a supportive team in a 75-place service, with rostered shifts across a Monday–Friday, 6:15am–6:00pm timetable.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services/Early Childhood Education or working towards qualification.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government.
• Current Child Safety/Protection training is required.
• Position may require being the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Director.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Law/Regulations.
• Familiarity with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
• Experience in the education and care of children.
• Effective oral and written communication in the workplace.

St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten is a 75-place service offering a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and grow. With spacious outdoor areas and a large backyard, our centre embraces nature-based learning and meaningful play experiences.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator (Group Leader) who is committed to creating engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environments. Working alongside a supportive team, you will play a key role in fostering children's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.
