Job summary

Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is seeking an Educator in Lara on a fixed-term, 6-month basis, with an hourly rate of $30.97–$38.14. You will support the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping create a nurturing environment where children thrive.

The role requires a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, current First Aid/CPR, a VIC Working with Children Check, and a genuine commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator in Australia is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the NQS.

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Lara, on a fixed-term, 6 month basis. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
