Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd in Lara is seeking an Educator for a fixed-term 6-month position. You will support engaging play-based learning, ensure a safe, welcoming environment, and build strong relationships with children and families.

The role requires relevant qualifications, current First Aid/CPR, and a VIC Working with Children Check. Uniform and development opportunities are provided within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred or willing to obtain.
• Working with Children Check VIC is required.

Educator (Fixed-Term 6 Months) | $30.97 – $38.14 per hour

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Lara, on a fixed-term, 6 month basis. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
