Job summary

Busy Bees Early Learning Australia is seeking an experienced Lead Educator / 2IC for Busy Bees at Baldivis, WA. This full-time role combines hands-on educational leadership with operational support for a 104-place service.

You will lead programming, mentor educators and assist with daily operations, stepping into Centre Director duties when required. WWCC in WA and relevant certificates are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in early childhood education and care, or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Current WA Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Mentor and support educators to deliver safe, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences.
• Assist the Centre Director with day-to-day leadership and operations.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required and contribute to operational decisions.
• Support staffing, routines and effective communication across the service.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and National Regulations and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive team culture built on accountability, collaboration and child safety.
