Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd, trading as Busy Bees Early Learning Australia, seeks a Lead Educator / 2IC at Busy Bees Baldivis. This full-time role offers an hourly rate of $41.72–$42.92 plus superannuation.

You will lead high-quality educational programs, mentor staff, and support the Centre Director with daily operations, stepping into the Director role when required at a 104-place service. Requirements include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, WA Working

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent or higher.
• Current WA Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Experience as Lead Educator/Room Leader/Educational Leader or 2IC in an ECEC service.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and National Regulations.
• Experience mentoring educators and leading high-quality educational programs.
• Strong organisational, communication and relationship-management skills.
• Confidence in supporting centre operations and broader leadership.
• Collaborative, positive and supportive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF.
• Mentor educators to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
• Support the Centre Director with day-to-day leadership and operations.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required.
• Support staffing, routines and effective communication across the service.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and regulations.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, observations and reflective practice.
