Job summary

Busy Bees Baldivis is seeking an experienced Lead Educator / 2IC to join our WA centre on a full-time basis. You will lead the daily educational program and support the Centre Director, stepping into a broader leadership role when required.

You’ll bring a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, current WA Working with Children Check, First Aid/ CPR, and a collaborative leadership style. Our Bee Safe culture focuses on high-quality learning and community relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent or higher qualification.
• Current Western Australian Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain them before commencing.
• Demonstrated experience as Lead Educator, Room Leader, Educational Leader or 2IC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs.
• Mentor and support educators to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
• Support the Centre Director with day-to-day leadership and operations.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required and assist with operational decisions.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
