Job summary

Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Lead Educator / 2IC for our Baldivis service in WA. This full-time role combines classroom leadership with center-level oversight, supporting the Director and stepping in when required.

You will plan and deliver rich EYLF-aligned programs, mentor staff, ensure safety and quality standards, and build strong relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current Western Australian Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience as Lead Educator, Room Leader, Educational Leader or 2IC.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and National Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of high-quality EYLF-aligned educational programs.
• Mentor and support educators to deliver safe, inclusive learning experiences.
• Support the Centre Director with daily leadership and operations.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families and the community.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, observations and reflective practice.
