Job summary

Eden Academy Kerrisdale is seeking a visionary Lead Educator to shape an incredible team and create a world of wonder for our little learners. The centre operates from 6.30am to 6.30pm, caring for 108 children with world-class resources and natural play spaces.

You will lead programming, mentor staff, and build strong relationships with families and the local community, fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Operating from 6.30am to 6.30pm, we provide the ultimate setting for 108 children to flourish, supported by a frequent rotation of world-class, age-appropriate resources.

About you;

• You're an experienced Lead Educator with a heart for high-quality care and inclusive leadership


• Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to creating engaging learning environments


• You design thoughtful programming that empowers children as independent learners


• Nurtures curiosity, resilience, and self-awareness in every child


• Inspires inquisitive young minds through meaningful interactions and intentional teaching


• Lays a strong foundation for a lifelong love of learning

What You'll Bring:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent


• A current Working with Children Check


• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards


• Australian Working Rights


• A professional and friendly personal presentation


• Confidence and curiosity to build relationships with families and the local community


• A team-first attitude and a desire to make a difference


• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
