Job summary

St Andrew’s Anglican College’s Little Saints Early Learning Centre in Peregian Beach is seeking a dedicated Lead Educator for a fixed term contract. You will plan and implement a stimulating daily curriculum for infants to Kindergarten, maintain progress records, and support ongoing development.

The role requires a Diploma in Children’s Services, current First Aid/CPR, and a Blue Card. You’ll lead the team, mentor the Assistant Educator, and contribute to a nurturing, family-like environment

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services required.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Blue Card/Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of educational programs, mentoring the Assistant Educator in daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with Centre policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical codes.
• Create safe, clean, and engaging learning environments for all children.
• Maintain clear communication with the Nominated Supervisor regarding incidents, health concerns or parental feedback.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Attend staff meetings, Centre events and professional development opportunities.
